Andrea Anders
Anders is a native of Madison, Wisconsin. She was raised and born in Madison, Wisconsin but now lives Los Angeles, is originally from DeForest. In 1993 she was a graduate of DeForest Area High school in DeForest Wisconsin. She earned the Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from University of Wisconsin Stevens Point in 1997. Rutgers University awarded her a Master's in Fine Arts degree in 2001. From 2006 to 2015, Anders and her former Joey co-star Matt LeBlanc, who met on set of the canceled sitcom dated. Her brother is director Sean Anders (Sex Drive, Never Been Thawed). Anders began her career in theatre in 2001. She was an understudy for Mary Louise Parker in the Broadway production of Proof and later, she played her role as Elaine Robinson in The Graduate. Apart from On the Jump, New Doors which was staged at the Guthrie Theater as well as New World Rhapsody, she was also on the Arena Stage in On the Jump, New Doors, at the Guthrie Theater. Anders began in May 2007 at her first Geffen Playhouse production of Fat Pig. Fat Pig ended on 1 July 2007. Anders was the first actress to make an appearance on a Dannon commercial which ran throughout the years 1990 and 2006. Anders one of her most well-known roles include Nicole Allen, a former wife of a footballer in The Class and Joey as Alex Garrett (a lawyer). Both times, she was present on every episode, but they were both cancelled. Anders was also seen making appearances as a guest on One Life to Live, Law & Order, The Guiding Light, and Tru Calling. The actress appeared in five seasons of the HBO drama series Oz in 2003, playing Donna Degenhart. In 2004 she portrayed Heather as Heather in The Stepford Wives. And in 2008, Brandy made a small appearance in Sex Drive as Brandy on Sex Drive. Anders appeared on Numb3rs that aired in the year 2008. Anders was also in two unsuccessful television pilots. Spellbound And News To Me were the two television pilots which failed. Anders was in Better Off Ted for ABC The show is a comedy featuring just one camera. The script was written by Victor Fresco.
