Born from Rochester, New York, Sharp was immersed in music and studied the clarinet as well as piano and cello at the highly regarded Hochstein School of Music. The passion she had for theatre in school inspired her to enroll at The Boston Conservatory, where she received the opportunity to receive a scholarship. Cum Laude, where she earned an B.F.A. Sharp began her journey to the stage. Sharp played in the Broadway National Tour of Carousel. Other stage shows include Abyssinia, Aida, Thunder Knockin', Jitney, The Producers, Big Street, Suburb and Joe Turner's Come and Gone, in which Sharp performed alongside writer August Wilson himself. Sharp's work is not limited to screen or stage. Sharp also wrote and written a number of projects. Sharp performs and is working on an album of full length. Sharp enjoys fitness. She stays fit by training in boxing, learning Krav Maga, and taking long trips on the road. Sharp has a home in Los Angeles.
