Alexa Meade measurements, bio, height, weight, shoe, and bra size
After being inspired initially through the shadows she saw on the grass of trees and the shadows she saw on the trees, she set out to create a method that does not portray the object in a 2D picture. More like the image has been transformed to it's own representation, and the surface takes an interpretation by the artist. This is especially effective when dealing with living objects as well as items that have a shelf life such as fruits or people. The ephemeral nature of her painterly style is obvious and what survives in Alexa Meade's works is a photograph. Trompe l'oeil is achieved through the combination of two methods of painting and photographing. This creates a flattened, two dimensional photograph. Meade often integrates her painting into the environment around her, which allows for the model to be a part of the world of their own. The lines between performance, photography, and installation is thus broken.
