Katherine Jean Bolduan also called Kate Bolduan by professional names is a broadcast journalist from the United States. Most well-known is her role as anchorperson on the CNN's At This Hour morning show. She also was a co-anchor of CNN's morning show New Day as well as The Situation Room. Bolduan was a part of CNN's award winning coverage of the presidential election 2012 and the 2016 presidential election. Her prior experience included working as an Washington DC based correspondent, covering all aspects of both US House and Senate. During her membership for the Capitol Hill Unit Bolduan reported about the legislative process and congressional events such as talks to increase the limit on federal debt and the super committee discussion. As an assignment reporter for general assignments, she has covered stories such as the Christmas Day bombing in 2009 and the Supreme Court ruling on Obamacare. Her first assignment was with CNN Newsource in 2007. She worked as a CNN Newsource national correspondent, offering breaking news and feature reporting to more than 800 CNN Newsource affiliated stations. Her previous assignments included NBC News MSNBC, WTVD-TV and WTVD-TV. Now she lives living in New York City together with her husband, two children and two grandchildren.
