The majority of the time, he was criticized at school. Being an avid Spider-Man enthusiast, he referred to himself as Spider-Man's alter ego, Peter Parker. He was a student at several different schools that included Priory Preparatory School, City of London Freemen's School, Central School of Speech and Drama as well as the University of London, from where he graduated in 2004. His interest in acting developed after realizing he wasn't so interested in studying business anymore. His acting career started with a role in the year 2005. He was a guest in the British TV show "Sugar Rush". In the movie "Boy A", he played a troubled young boy struggling to rebuild his life after spending time in prison. In addition, he was in "The Social Network," as the main character followed by the movie "The Amazing Spider-Man." In addition to being able to take on a variety of roles, his role was chosen as the lead actor in the historical movie "Silence" in the year 2016. He has won numerous awards including The BAFTA Award for Best Actor, Tony Award and A.A.C.T.A. Award for "Best Actor in a Drama' following his appearance as the character "Hacksaw Ridge." As well as these honors, he earned several Oscar nominations and had the chance to play alongside actors like Sam Worthington, Campbell Scott, and the original Spider-Man, Tobey Maguire.
